- Analog Devices HMC305S Digital Step Attenuators are broadband, positive-control silicon IC digital attenuators. These attenuators operate from 0.4-6GHz using a 3.3-5V single supply voltage. The 5-bit HMC305S attenuators offer bit values of 0.5 (LSB), 1, 2, 4, and 8dB. The devices achieve a total attenuation of 15.5dB with a less than 1.6dB insertion loss. The HMC305S family provides excellent attenuation accuracy with a ±0.25dB bit error and an IIP3 of up to +52dBm. The HMC305S attenuators have a CMOS-compatible, serial-to-parallel driver interface. Designers can use five-bit serial control words to select each attenuation state. HMC305S attenuators' glitch-free safe-state transitions feature ensures the safe operation of the components in the RF signal chain.Learn More
